Hi Tom:
These are very good exercises and I found them helpful, with one exception: the one at the end which has you in a plank position initially and then extending your body backward until you are completely prone in the "superman" position puts a great deal of pressure on your lower back when you near full-extension. I had to come down on my elbows to be able to safely extend fully. My two cents. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mike

In this video I’m wearing my old Adidas indoor sports shoes. Definitely not the best option for this kind of training :) .

I’m thinking about investing in some Vibram five-fingers for the upcoming summer. If you enjoy barefoot running you should consider this option.
They’re probably not suitable for winter though. I know that there are some great winter trail running shoes from Asics. I just can’t remember the exact model name.

Tom,

Great video. What kind of shoes are you wearing? I'm looking for something flexible. I'm trying to go barefoot but we have 2 feet of snow here now.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Ben,
It's great that you liked it and that you are also interested in the primal way of training, which has become an important part of my life. The neck thing isn't something to be freaked out about, but it isn't also for beginners. It's a very good exercise for neck muscle conditioning if you are experienced enough. To achieve that kind of level, you have to start with some simple exercises that target the same muscles. After some time, progress will be inevitable.
